Members fallstar208
I bought an Epiphone Dot Studio about a year ago with the intentions of stripping it, refinishing it, and doing some upgrades. In that year I managed to lose the original parts, and when I tried to put on a new tune-o-matic (Gotoh), it's too wide and won't fit on the posts. This Gotoh bridge has a post spacing of 2 29/32". Does anyone know where I can find a narrower version to fit on this without having to pull the bushings?

Members Pope on a Rope
Nashville and ABR Tune-O-Matic bridges are spaced differently. You sure you didn't just order the wrong style for that guitar?
Members DonK
If GC doesn't work out, check out Stew-Mac; they've got a good selection of Gibson-style bridges and stop-tails. http://www.stewmac.com/
Members fallstar208
oh, I'm positive I ordered the wrong part. And that bridge description looks promising, but the center to center spacing is wider than what I have here. Think it's worth trying to contact Epiphone? Members Wyatt
Epiphone, and 99% of imports, use metric parts that fit different than US-based parts. Gibson/US-sized tune-o-matics won't fit. it it's a drop-in replacement for a Gibson, it won't fit an Epi. You have to find one specifically for drop-in replacement for a metric/import TOM. I know tonepros makes one, i sure there are cheaper ones as well.
Members vintage clubber
The Gotoh TOM with the large bushings should be a direct fit. I have one for my EPI LP.
