Members elsupermanny14
Just curious guys. I have a Standard Strat wired traditionally with universal volume, tone for neck, and tone for the middle pickup. No tone control for the bridge pickup. I also have a Scremin Demon humbucker in the bridge of the guitar. Since there is no tone control does that mean the humbucker is running wide open with all 10k? Does the 250k Volume pot have any effect on it? I hear about how humbuckers sometimes sound muddy in Strats because they have to be wired into 250k pots. Personally I don't think my Screamin Demon sounds muddy and it sounds BAD ASS when I crank my amp and turn the gain up. Is that because it's running wide open? Or am I wrong and it's some other reason? Just curious. Let me know!

Members expat701
Strats traditionally are wired without tone control on the bridge pup. Naturally you can rewire if you're so inclined. Same with the pots - you can upgrade them.

Out of curiousity how many Strats and Strat style guitars do you own? And which one is your favorite?
