Members bdegrande
I love my ToneLab, but I don't think anything that has a tube can be considered for most reliable. I would second the Boss GT series, and the Korg AX1500G also has a solid metal case.
Members kirs
Love the Tonelab ST. Get some great sounds out of it. Build pretty rugged too. The tube is encased in foam rubber so I would not be so concerned about it breaking.
Members Musicscotty
My Boss GT-6 has seen a {censored}load of stuff happen to it, and it still works first time - every time.I remember playing a gig in a real busy pub and having some guy drop an entire pint of lager all over it. I just switched it off, upended it to pour the lager out and turned it back on to finish the rest of the set It's seriously built to last.

Members _pete_
GSP1101.Top notch effects and they're all safe and sound inside a rack. Control it with a nice MIDI pedal. They can take all kinds of abuse.
Members GCDEF
I don't even think of the Tonelab as a multi-effects pedal. It's an amp sim that just happens to have some built in effects. It seems reliable enough. For MFX, the Line 6 M13 is hard if not impossible to beat, and it seems as sturdy as anything else out there.
Members Karma1
I've been using the Zoom G9.2tt which sounds great and is extremely solid and well-built.

Yeah Zoom gets overlooked quite a bit. I have a Zoom a2 acoustic FX processor and it's a killer little unit. I use it to beef up the piezo in my PRS and my acoustic guitars. Awesome box for $89. Members johanneswiberg
I love my ToneLab, but I don't think anything that has a tube can be considered for most reliable. I actually dropped my ToneLab (original desktop version) from my bike in full speed once, bouncing on the pavement. Not a scratch. The tank comments are well deserved.
