I've got 4 electrics - 1 to many for me (my girlfriend), really - and one had to go, so with a little hesitation I put the Strat on eBay. She was real nice, self-taught and into the blues like me; we chatted away for half an hour when she came round to pick the guitar up today.Do I sense romance in the wind???? :poke:Better not let the girlfriend hear... It played like butter, setup exactly as I wanted it... stayed in tube for weeks on end etc, but I was never entirely happy with the tone. Very scratchy and bright; very nice clean, but not so good with overdrive or distortion. Whilst I'm still a little attached, it just wasn't gonna justify itself for the little play it's been getting.
