What do you consider a reasonably priced electric guitar

A reasonable price is what I am prepared to pay for a guitar I like.

It has no monetary label at all.

It is determined by my financial condition at the time and how much I like/want the guitar.

Its a value judgement in the widest sense possible.

I think that the category would be better to read 300-600 sale priced, in that range you can find very reasonably priced new guitars. Meaning well built, good pickups, hardware and major names, if you shop carefully.

I think Id be in the $500 max range. I dont see the need in paying 1000's of
dollars on an instrument for someone of my talent level to begin with. :lol:

All that aside though, I tend to think the "proof is in the pudding."
If it plays good, and feels good, it probably is - or could be - good. :idea:

I voted 800-1200 because in my experience that's where the really good "value" guitars have been. But the wording of your question is a little flawed because some $400 are bad deal and some $2000 are great deal. Depends really.
