Ah, another Model 88 man. Here's mine:

Love the wood they used on these. Mine was a serious road warrior before I got it - the filled in black spot on the upper bout was a chip caused by a bullet! (The chainsaw case has the matching bullet hole)

Cool! You don't see many of these. Mine is #300 of 1000. What is yours? I love the finish color on these. I got it in a trade for a crappy Peavey 4x12 cab.

I like that. Is that a custom made pickguard or did it come on the guitar originally?

No. it is a custom guard.

I originally got the model 5 as a shell, and I was going through my single bucker phase at the time, and I didn't want the other pickup.

I gigged it for ages like this..I might be able to find a pic,but eventuaslly stuck the guard on.

I like it, it makes it MY model 5, and I think it's now got a bit of a Squier 51 vibe going on!

heres an old pic from it's gigging days:

The model 6 is my #1. Yes that is a first generation Trembucker. In the neck is a '59 Fender single coil. I plan on being cremated with this guitar. HAHA.

I'm not sure the model number of the other. I honestly found it on my front porch a few months back. No one I know will admit to giving it to me. I think it was the best man from my wedding but he denies it.

I wish I still had my crackle tone Charvel I sold about six years ago.

My old 1989 Model 4:

mod4.jpg

I replaced the stock electronics with EMG S / S / 81 + Fat Boost

I replaced the lousy pot metal Jackson bridge with an OFR.

Before that it had a wonderful neck but lousy reliability culminating with

the bridge pickup shorting out onstage during a gig. AWFUL.

After it was my #1 for over ten years. It started having problems again and

I traded it on a Jackson Soloist in 1998 and that one gets a lot of play time:
