Members Small Stone
Dimebag and Vai both had a piece of electrical tape on the front pickup. Why would they do that, if I may ask?
Members cuppster
Why would they do that, if I may ask? It makes the strings faster. :poke:
Members Ferdinandstrat
Why would they do that, if I may ask? Sometimes the pick hits the sides of the neck pickup, so they ductaped it.
Members jak83
Yeah, it's purely functional to keep the strings from falling under the pickup and getting caught when they dive bomb. No magic dust.
Members Angry Tele
Jeff Beck bought that Esquire like that, I think all he did was put a strat switch tip on, and brass saddles. He never even liked that guitar, in fact he gave it away lol What about Robert Smith? Wasnt he one of the first to use a buzz stop on his Jazzmaster? and what about amps? Who plays stock amps? I know Page modded his marshals to put out 200 watts, and I think Dave Murray did the opposite, made his marshal a 50 watter...Jerry Garcia played modded twin reverbs, Eric Johnson puts 2 prong cords on new twin reverbs...
