I've wanted this guitar since 1989. Help me...

Found elsewhere...

 

 

It was a custom job made by Chris Hofschnieder who built guitars in the Artists Endorsment room off the main floor of the factory. A similiar custom model was made for Joe Perry of Aerosmith. Total artist custom jobs but they were considered Spectors and had the Spector logo on the headstock. If my memory serves, it didn't say Kramer anywhere on that guitar.

I think it says Hofschneider on the TRC.

Thanks, guys! I suspected it had something to do with Kramer, judging by the Kramer-esque details: all black Floyd, single bridge hb, thin neck.. but the headstock threw me off.

I didn't see a volume knob either.

It'd be awesome if this same guitar was being produced :(

meh...Kramers never really did it for me...great song, though...

 

 

Spector was to Kramer what Jackson is to Fender. Wholly owned but completely independent construction. Maybe some similar parts (trem, etc) but the body and neck are completely different.
