Members Grantus
I've never owned a tubescreamer, so I guess I'm out. I'm not sure I'd want to touch that one without being up to date on my shots.
Members GAS Man
That's amazing that the knobs are still in one piece with all the knocks that pedal has obviously taken.
Members Jkater
The paint can't have been removed like that from "normal" use. The places where it's off are not exactly where it should wear out from using it normally, stepping off the switch, etc. Even if it had to do with rubbing from other objects (what objects can be hard enough to do that anyway) the paint near the input wouldn't be gone. Plus I have a TS-808 and I can tell you that paint is extremely solid. This is a "reliced" one. Great idea.

Ya know, I saw the pic, typed and posted, and then read your post. Worked out well. That wear looks fake as hell. I think the relicing of the pedal is a step too far. Guitars, sometimes. Pedals? Come on. No one's gonna see it but you. Sooooooooooooo, you're lying to yourself. Lame. Personally, I dust my pedals frequently and do all I can to protect them.
