Members bsman
I've never been a big LP or SG fan, but those 339s are drop-dead sexy! To me, they are everything an LP is not: light, easy fret access, comfy. I can definitely see myself rocking one of those, and your red one is just plain gorgeous! Members fretmonster
My vote: les paul axcess. Stays in tune, sounds great, comfortable, great upper fret access. now where did I put that duck-behind-the-sofa emoticon? I like this one in the design department: It's an LP Studio Lite and addresses the heft/bulk issues without adversely effecting the tone. (Sorry for the crappy pic.) Members Brewski
The LP is the guitar that made Gibson famous for the Rock genre. Jazz = Hollow/Semi Metal = V/Explorer PreElectricity - Gibson was one of the many acoustic builders. you great great grandad had a Gibson - if he played at all
Members crashclc
I really like the 339 too but don't have one My Artcore Custom AS103 takes away a lot of the pain...

Members Patuney
I still like this Nighthawk design, light, appropriate body cuts, lovely necks. A really new direction at the time for Gibson- the remakes, not so much.
