Members Brainfertilizer
Click to embiggen. Ted Nugent's sig. 90's Hamer USA Californian. The maple fretboard is quite rare. Sounds great.

Members Special J
Nice Cali! The black on black really sets off the maple. Too bad some jackass wrote all over it.

Members HairwayToSteven
Nice! USA Californians are hard enough to find, let alone one with a maple fretboard. Good Job!!

Members cratz2
Yeah, I honestly don't know if I've ever seen a 27 fret one with the maple board in person and I was knee deep in metal-ish guitars during the late 80s and early 90s. Very nice score! HNGD!
Members Brainfertilizer
Nice! USA Californians are hard enough to find, let alone one with a maple fretboard. Good Job!! If you hang around on the Hamer Fan Club board, there are bunches of USA Cali's available. I actually bought and sold one (and made $200 in the process) before I joined this board. But, yeah, the maple fretboards are pretty dang rare. This one was apparently a one-off custom job. I with it had boomers, but I admit: I don't know how boomers would look on a maple board. The upgraded pickup (parallel axis trembucker, I think) sounds awesome. ...and after thinking about it, I have no idea what kind of wood the body is, although I *think* it is mahogany. I'll have to ask.
Members peavey_impact
Congrats man, that thing looks epic. I hope you enjoy it for many years to come. My 1989 Hamer USA Cali Standard is my favorite guitar I've ever played; I'll never get rid of it. The body of your guitar is most likely a single chunk of Honduran Mahogany
