Members mnewb1
Oddly enough, I just recorded a wanky Gm improv over that same Gilmour track this weekend while testing out the USB recording features of my Utopia G300 pedal. I downloaded it from Gilmourish.com a few months ago.I had a hell of a time getting the levels right. It took me hours to figure out that I had to turn the output level on the pedal all the way down to like 7-10% to keep it from distorting and sounding like crackly crap pumped through a torn speaker. I could just barely hear the guitar through my headphones, but it came out at a good volume over the backing track.Gilmoury TrackMaybe next time I'll try a little less chorus and delay ... and kind of plan something out a bit in advance. It's my MIM Strat with Tonerider City Limits pups through the G300 on the preset I call "Texas Twinverb" (Texas preamp channel, chorus, delay, & a smidge of reverb) Less delay on a Gilmour style track? Very nice job, melodic and on point!
