Members burton4snow
I am looking for a book/CD format that will teach me a little theory along with information on how to solo over different chord progressions amd knowing were I am at on the fretboard. I play Blues/Rock, Rock and Hard Rock. Any Suggestions?
Members billybilly
http://www.amazon.com/Fretboard-Logic-SE-Reasoning-Arpeggios/dp/0962477060 The book above is pretty good. For rock/blues, I recommend learning the minor pentatonic all over the fretboard, put on your favorite music and jam to it. I dare you to do that for 30 minutes a day. You will be good in no time. This one is good too and more advanced. http://www.amazon.com/Chord-Tone-Soloing-Guitarists-Improvising/dp/0634083651/ref=pd_sim_b_6
