  1. I am going to change them a lot. I plan on making a whole bunch of one humbucker one volume Stratocaster pickguards with less expensive pickups from places like GFS and switching them out periodically. Locking might be the answer.
  2. I want to replace the tuners my Squier Classic Vibe 50s Stratocaster 2014. The split style won’t work for me because I am swapping out the pickguard with other pre made pickguards. So when I loosen the strings they pop out and I usually can’t get them back in and end up having to use another set of strings. So I need the ones with the slot or hole in the tuning peg. Can someone recommend replacement tuners for my Squier Classic Vibe 50s Stratocaster 2014 want to go from the split shaft to slotted (hole in the peg). Direct drop in would be great. Thanks
  3. I big pair up I have seen is the Dimarzio twang king and TV Jones Classic. I might do the Area T and the Classic since I have problems with noise. I have a hot area T in another Tele and I get a lot of compliments on the sound of it. The Area T and Twang King are similar in output on Dimarzios website.
  4. What about a Classic Bridge or Classic Plus bridge in the neck. Would that be a good match volume wise to the lil'59 ?
  5. I really like this Duncan Lil'59 in this Tele but the Neck Fender Fidelitron is super weak compared to the Lil'59. Would a TV Jones Powertron be a good match? 6. Looking for a good Matching pair of pickups for a Duo Sonic HS. So A humbucker in the bridge that goes well with a single coil in the Neck. What would be the best combo? I play a lot of classic rock.
  7. I have the Liverpool set in a Bullet Tele and really like them and will probable use them for this next project, but I was wondering about the Nashville and Memphis ones. Has anyone used these and have opinions about them. Thanks
  8. I need a Tele bridge pickup that will be a match for a TV Jones Classic neck pickup in this guitar. I still want the Tele sound in the bridge.
  9. I have a strat project going on and I need pickups for it. I have always wanted to try Toneriders so that is what I am going to put in this partscaster. I just need some recommendations of which ones people really like. These will be my first real strat pickups so I don't know much about the different sounds other than what I hear on YouTube. The Guitar is an Alder body with a Maple neck. I like to play blues and blues rock, but wouldn't mind getting into some surf rock and alternative showgazing stuff. I always play with a little dirt but I think any of these Toneriders handle dirt in their own cool way from what I have heard on YouTube. I do have my favorites form listening, but I am just wondering what are the favorites out there with you guys. Again I know people are going to suggest Rose and Bill Lawrence as well as others, but I am really only interested in trying out a set of Toneriders just to see what the hype is and hopefully getting a great set of pickups.
  10. Yeah I own 19 Guitars and have switched pickups many times in all of them because I am more of a tinkerer when it comes to guitars. I hotrod cheaper guitars because half of it for me is getting in there and soldering stuff. I have tried lots of Duncan pickups but so far the only one I have stayed with are the Pearly Gates in a Epiphone Wilshire Reissue
