Members Mav64
Used to have the Skyscraper cassette. Always dug the riff in Knucklebones...
Members soundcreation
I saw the Eat em and smile tour. Great show. Although dave was pretty drunk through the whole thing. He did all the classic VH songs anyway so even though it wasn't eddie it was still pretty cool. I'd rather hear that band do old VH than listen to Hager sing DLR songs. Members Reverse Entropy
I'd love to hear vai and Roth again, or at least Vai in that kind of band setting, instead of Zappa-esque over produced solo albums. I thought "Big Trouble" essentially WAS a Zappa style track. Slinky minor key groove, all you need is Zappa and Duke trading off on the vocals in verse and chorus. Zappa (serious guy voice) "Jerry Blue, and Mighty Mouse. A kinda quiet dude, and she was s'posed to be back at the house, with the kids and the dog..." Duke (manic guy voice) "How many tiiii-yems have you said to yourself, I feel like a yo-yo, I been here too long." ....and that solo - gawd, brilliant. Members Happy Ending
Eat 'em and smile is the only DLR solo album I ever bought, and far as I'm concerned out-VHd VH of the day.

Yeah, EEAS was Van Halen on steroids. Shame that DLR couldn't sustain that for a couple more albums.
