I voted for Mascis, but at the same time... it all depends on the details of the Modern Series guitars. Is it MIJ or MIM? What is the radius on that Jaguar or Marauder?

I like that Tele, also. The Tele Plus plate is a nice touch and I could slap on a standard Tele Guard on it and have a cheap Tele Plus.

If it's a MIJ series, I'll look into buying a lake placid blue marauder. Probably won't purchase it though, considering those pickups are ridiculous. But there's still info to be revealed. The Jaguars (not jazzmasters, everyone) interested me for a little while but I got over it. It's just a naked toronado with awkward knob placement and an input jack on the body instead of on the side. I'll pass. Would be interesting to see with a bigsby though.

The tele bass also seemed interesting at first but I would have to play one before anything else. I can usually bond with the necks on most guitars but basses are completely different. Also, scary pickups are scary.
