Members jtr654
If your frets are as wide as your Low E string than thet are probably fretless wonder frets. But they quit using these frets in the mid 70's and went with medium size frets that Gibson had been using on most of their guitars since around 1960. Members DavidMgT
For the price of a LP Custom, I would rather go for a Historic. The Gibson Historics, in my experience, are among the best guitars one can get.
Members satannica
No NGD for me... I went and checked out the black Standard again, but decided to wait for a better playing desert burst. I'll resume the search in the new year. I'm amazed that there's literally one desert burst in stock within 60 miles of me! Ah well, I got coursework to do for now.
Members csm
Scuttlebutt has it that the Gibsons which arrive in Europe aren't always the pick of the litter ... I'm told that US dealers get the cream of the crop, then Japan ... and then, and ONLY then, us.
