Members Flatspotter
If you decide to do that, I'd suggest a push-push pot instead of a push-pull. It's much easier to activate, especially mid-song.
Members fretless
That's a great idea ! I'm just gonna stick with the push/pull though . I think I can spare the 1.3 sec. it will take to activate it , we'll see though .
Members Flatspotter
Whatever works for you. The thing I like about the push-push is that you can toggle it with the side of your hand.

I tech'ed for my nephew and wired-up something like your schematic and he just could hang with the push/pull in a performance situation. That said, in my experience your average push/push is not as sturdy as your average push/push, because of its additional mechanical complexity. But my experience isn't exactly massive. Although my buddy has a Ibanez Roadstar from the 80's with a push/push, that has held-up well.
Members timrocker
Wouldn't you get more useful musical sounds if you wired it to shut off one cool of the bucker and blend the remaining half with the single? I've tried using one neck single by itself and never thought it was just exactly the most useful sound in the world.
