Members Yarbicus
how do you like the Twin Clean Drive? i like mine, i can get VERY convincing Fender cleans from my VC with it... Absolutely! With a responsive amp like my JCA it is incredible. It is like adding two channels to a single channel amp.

Members sylvesterlowery
Both of the cheapest guitars in my collection required a little TLC to get them going... Ibanez RG 320. When I got it, it needed a neck pickup and also had bridge issues. I dropped in a pair of no-name buckers I had lying around and picked up a couple of screws for the bridge. The previous owner sanded the original finish off and sprayed it with clear, rough job. I've been entertaining the idea of filling in the neck pickup slot and painting it a solid color. Cost-Guitar, 30 bucks delivered (CL), screws, about 5 bucks. And my well worn 1991 RG 570. When I got this one, it wasn't producing any sound. Turns out a wire to the volume pot had broken loose. Took just a few minutes to repair. It was marked at 249. Cost-50 bucks (plus tax) with OHSC and bar.

Members Alecto
My dad's old Goya nylon-string: FREE! My dad developed arthritis so he gave it to my sister who wanted to learn guitar. She eventually decided she wanted a steel-string and stuck this in a closet. About 12 years later, she asked me if I wanted it, I said sure. Dropped about $100 for repairs and setup and it's been fine ever since.

I love this thing.Adler body, maple neck, rosewood board and it sounds great through my low buck Ampeg BA-108. No photos of the bass, but here is the stock photo from Jay's site. Members John Backlund
Did the former owner sand off the Squier logo??? Apparently. There was an oval, metal Harley logo thing stabbed into it where the 'Squire' decal would have been. The only place it says 'Squire by Fender' is on the neck plate...
