Members KightTemplar
Hi, anyone has owned/used the Yamaha DG stomp? as the proud owner of the Dg-60 I know it is packed with great tones, but I would like to know how it would sound if you go direct into the PA system. Thanks.
Members Kap'n
Had both a DG-Stomp and the DG amp. Loved the FX and the interface. Less excited about the amp sims - especially in the amp. Eventually sold both.
Members Wyatt
I have one around here. To this day it is the only modeler I've tried that nails both the clean and dirty tones of a Fender Tweed Deluxe without even being an amp-special emulation. I believe Yamaha just had a better grip on modeling, which is probably why the THR10 is so popular. But, I can not really say how it is through a PA, it's always been a household tool for me. Members Grant Harding
I had a DG Stomp about 10 years ago and to be honest I wasn't impressed. The amp sims were not as good as my Line6 AX2 amp and the unit was too noisy to use for recording.
Members onelife
I cant speak specifically for the Stomp but I use a DG80 and run it direct into a PA for live use and it sounds so good I prefer that to using a mic.
