Members tim gueguen
He apparently didn't use it for very long. He got it after his Gretsch Country Gentleman fell off the back of a car and was smashed to bits. Some source claim the '345 was the guitar he used on "Day Tripper." Can't believe Gibson hasn't put out a "Day Tripper" signature model 345 already...

Joe went to the loo (bathroom) and George grabbed it for a quick pic. Joe said he never would have allowed George to touch it. Members Rick 381
The 345 was used for the videos and for the final tour of England. The tour was, IIRC, 9 dates with 2 shows a day. The guitar is never seen in studio pictures. The guitar was never seen again even in photos of George's private collection. The Moody Blues, also an Epstein act, were on that final tour and there are rumors that the guitar belonged to one of the Moodys and was borrowed for the tour. It makes no sense that George would have needed to borrow a guitar, or buy a temporary to replace the Gent as he still had the Rick 12, the Tenny, the Strat and the J-160e. A couple of months later George got the Casino and the SG and it's possible the 345 was traded in on one or both of these guitars.

Members Lonnie99
Could care less about the guitar, but I spent a good hour watching old Beatles videos, thanks!
