When I do get a top notch guitar it will likely be an old Gibson hollow of some sort. Maybe a 175 or the likes. That or a John Backlund. Those are just cool. For that I could get a Birdland or something higher up on my list. I see them listed on ebay used in the 3K range, so that's about right. I think its because a lot of people associate them with the BMW and country club set because of the price and the fact that they are 'pretty'.
