Members dimibetan
The Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker and the Fender Atomic Humbucker have the same specs: - 16.4k DC resistance- Alnico 5 magnets Anyone experienced or owned one or both of them? What is the difference between them? Which do you prefer? Thanks

Members FuzzyJackrabbit
I don't have experience with the Fender Atomic, but the JB has a nice full and meaty sound. The Duncan Distortion has an edgier sound by way of comparison (better for metal). The JB is good for all around rocky stuff.

Members stormin1155
I have an Atomic in the bridge position of my Fender Showmaster. I like it... very strong output. I used to have two Showmasters... the other one had SD pickups, but I don't remember which models. Anyway, I liked this one better than that one, so sold it.
