I found it interesting because A) you could apparently find a 53 Tele back in 1979 or 80 for that price, B) as Scottie said, he is a down to earth engaging musician, C) there is a discernable sound difference between electric guitars, even of the same make and design, and maybe it takes a great player like Gill to make the best use of it.
