What kind of pick are you using?

Dunlop Big Stubby 3.0.

Because it's as much a feel thing as a sound thing. Like I said in my original reply to this thread, I use a Tortex 60 because anything lighter gives you too much "slap" of pick on string, while anything heavier makes the pick jump around in my fingers too much (and if I tighten my grip I start becoming scared I'll break strings).

No love for Dava Jazz picks? I find them easy to control and virtually indestructable- they keep their points for months. A bit on the hard side- I'll occasionally switch to grey Brainpicks or some Surfpicks for variety

Clayton blue triangles, tortex green jazz style, Dunlop tear drop yellow, big stubby, the black jazz picks as well as the yellowish ultex ones, anything else that jumps off the shelf. What can I say, adhd and changing picks helps keep me engaged.

after trying many different picks, I discovered the big Stubbies and it's no going back to anything else. I use the 2.0 one.
