Members nerol1st
First see this video if you want to know what mics and see all the recording {censored}. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl50HkTdJo0 Then once you have watched that watch this (dial up warning, this vid is 178 MB big): http://sneapforum.kazrog.com/Guitargodgt/Drums.mov login: sneapforumpassword: sn3apf0rum Audio is what was coming into pro tools, only pan and volumes were set. Members marko46
Yea, that was pretty impressive. I did not watch the 2nd video as time is not on my side this morning, but I will. Very cool. Thanks!
Members nerol1st
The second video is the actual playing and the actual audio we were getting. I wish I paid enough attention to what the kit was, it sounded ace though.

Members nerol1st
Yeah I apologize guys. The vid is 178 MB, I should have put up a warning (I'm using verizon Fios so I don't really think about this kind of thing). The vid was shot at 1080i and compressed down as much as I could stand. I can post a youtube vid tomorrow if you want (I just hate what it does to the audio).
Members boxofrocks
Damn those mics and that kit sound sweeeet.. Especially no processing yet, that is what impresses me man, the room, mics, and kit must have been perfectly in sync. I wish I could afford those mics. I see a reference mic out in the room, did you get to see how he used that?
Members nerol1st
I'm actually not the player in that video. I was the one engineering it (with some help ). The room mics are those measurement/reference mics that you see in the room are the room mics, an Earthworks TK30 set. Basically since we were running pro tools HD the sync issue your talking about wasn't an issue (those room mics were just for ambiance). Again I just thought you guys would get a kick out of it.
