About half a year ago, Guitar Center was having a sale where you could buy 2 Paiste prototype cymbals for the price of 1. That guy probably just bought those two cymbals for about $200. I don't know for sure though, but I'm guessing that Paiste was just looking to liquidate old cymbal prototypes, so they figured why not make a profit and sell 'em?
