Members lalapancakes
I found this piccolo snare drum on guitarcenter.com http://www.guitarcenter.com/PDP-Piccolo-Steel-Snare-Drum-101934644-i1165905.gc?mode=1&qso=3 I've been looking to get a piccolo for a while. All the reviews say it's great (except for the rim shots) but still for 50$ that's still a ridiculously cheap price. But I'm skeptical about why is it so cheap? I don't want to buy it and it ends up being a POS. But still it's 50$ it's really tempting. Also it looks like you only can buy it online and it's not available at stores, so I can't go to my local GC and try it out. What do you guys think? Members cearleywine
I think for $50 it's worth it even if it sucks. You could probably put it back on craigslist and get your money back.
Members marko46
Yea, I agree w/ cearlywine, ya really can"t get hurt at $50.00. It looks like a six lug though. Be better if it was an eight. I bought this Popcorn for $50.00 and I love it:http://usa.mapexdrums.com/drums/mpx/index.asp I know it's not a Piccolo, just sayin. I attach it to my HH stand. Members cdawg
ya rimshot it at all, you'll bend it. POS, man. but if you wanna just record with it, then dump it fast, you could. just put it on the ground with a board on top and jump on it, to straighten it out, before you sell it. Members ThePloughman
Tune it within a proper range, its going to be ok. Crank it up to some ridiculous pop range, and it will not be so ok. It is a six lugger, and has limitations. Even at 50 bucks, this is one for the kids, in my opinion. Members lossforgain
They are pretty crappy -- but if you're dead set on getting one, wait till they go on sale for $35-40. It happens regularly.

Members irnbru83
Buy it and then put it on Craigslist in an attempt to get $200 for it. Make sure to mention all of the famous people who may have played it.
