Members Jaden
Evans Min-EMAD for or against? I just ordered some and want to know what other drummers' think of them. I'm hesitant to use moongel and am not going to use tape. Thanks guys :poke:

What on earth do you have against moongel? Meanwhile, if you play out unmiked you may want to leave them unattached--it's ring and sustain that gets you heard. Muffled drums sound soft and lifeless when unmiked.

Members Jarick
They didn't do anything for me. I bought some because GC was practically giving them away on clearance. They didn't stick to coated heads and then I kept losing them. I'll stick with Moongel and duct tape.
Members cearleywine
As far as looks I'd rather use tape. Though I only muffle my floor with an e-ring. The coolest muffling system I've found was Dave Weckl's, it pops up upon impact letting the drum ring full and quickly comes down to mute the overtones. Members Jarick
Got duct tape on the snare head and both duct tape and a cymbal felt on the 18" tom in this one...doesn't sound too dead to me.
