Members JMR
I like buddy rich sigs, but they're just a bit too big. I like Vic Firth SD9s, but I break them way too fast. I've heard a lot about Vic Firth SD10s, would they work?
Members cearleywine
they used to be my go-to stick for many years while playing punk. Very fast feel, but they're maple as well as the SD9's, so I don't know if they'll stand up to your playing. Ever just try Hickory 5B's?
Members the DW
You may want to have your dealer check the Vic Firth catalog. The SD9 may be available in Hickory (which would make it an HD9). I use the HD4N which is the same shape as the SD4N, but Hickory. Worth checking into. EDIT: I just checked the Vic Firth website. HD9 is avaiilable! Members the DW
Yup. I started with SD4's, but they were too light and soft. Switched to the HD4's, and problem solved.
