Apparently, the dean of the college of fine arts where I attend knows Steve Gadd on a personal level, used to play with him some back in the day. He told my percussion instructor to let him know if we'd like to try and organize a master class/artist residency or something along those lines. Wouldn't that be something. Carlock. taken trad grip to it's outer limit. it's hyperbolic and nearly satirical to watch. what a ridiculous grip! Almost seems to be a recurring theme with those North Texas guys.
