Members JMR Posted February 24, 2012 Author Members Share Posted February 24, 2012 axis x arrived today. rules... only one problem: It lifts the batter end of my Sonor Champion kick drum so that the beater doesn't hit at a 90 degree angle... help? Is there something I could use to lift the front of the bass drum up? Or maybe some sort of replacement? The spurs are no help... 35 year old drum hardware nightmare. I'll keep trying. Members SYMBOLIC Posted February 24, 2012 Members Share Posted February 24, 2012 didn't your old pedal lift the batter end of the kick? Or does the Axis lift it more than the old one? You could either dig a hole where the pedal goes on the floor, or you could make some sort of shim contraption to raise the front of the kick.
