Members HORSE
I've always been really curious. What does the singer do during those long instrumental intros and interludes? Does he go have a beer at a nearby pub? Or grab a cup of coffee at a local shop? Or does he just stand on stage doing nothing?
Members Mudbass
I can't really say. When the band is doing one of those long intrumental pieces the camera isn't on the singer. He could be humping a groupie for all I know.
Members HORSE
Wow. I should have been a singer instead of a bass player.
Members J.
Dream Theater is an amazing band. Every single member of the group is a virtuoso on their respective instrument, with possible exception of LaBrie (nothing against him as he's a fine singer, but I wouldn't call him a virtuoso). DT is one of those 'either you like them or you don't' kind of bands it seems, 'cause I've only heard a handful of people who didn't have an opinion on them one way or the other. If you want some more modern prog-metal, check out Symphony-X. Their 1997 release "Divine Wings of Tragedy" is astounding. I would even dare to say that they're better than DT. The singer they have for that album rules.
Members sunburstbasser
I saw DT when they opened for Yes a little over a year ago. Labrie walks off stage while the others go off doing their thing.

I wasn't really paying attention to DT at all.
