Members fishfartz
I mean king of the mountain end all bass amps? I dont mean for recording or whatever, but live what single purchase (can be stack) amp will decimate all in its territory? as far as nut-shaking I mean "nut-vibrating" you ever sit in a bar-stool with an amp cranked up close by and when you play the bar-stool vibrates with those low ass frequencies and its like a hum-job? Members sunburstbasser
I'd bet Trace's V8 could rattle anything up pretty good too. Pair any big tube amp with a good cab-say, a Bergantion or two-and it should be POWERFUL. The pre/poweramp route should be just as powerful. Members Bluescout
Let's not forget my latest aquisition, the Peavey Classic 400. All the fun of an SVT with another channel and 1/3 more power.
Members 1tallbassguy
Yes the Classic 400 is a beast and certainly capable of some testicle tremors, but I would say that this may be the best answer to the question. http://www.philjonesbass.com/PRODUCTS/AMP/T-500.htm
Members Emprov
Strange that this thread has come up today. I was at a rehearsal last night running a 400RB into my Schroeder 1210, the rehearsal went kinda long so I took a seat on the cab as I was playing. After about 20 seconds I had to stand back up. Man, talk about nut shaking! Uhmmm, was that too much information?

I like that tag line..."Probably the most powerfull amp of all time..." It's uncertain, but it doesn't matter because this thing is a beast! Yo. Imagine setting that up next to your guitarist's Marshall stack before he gets to practise. Then as soon as he walks in, say "SURPRISE!!" and hit an open B No more volume wars!
