Members 82Daion
The SVT-II Pro and the V-9 will have close to the same tube quotient and the same power rating, if that helps. I'd go for the BOALG option and get a non-Pro SVT-II.
Members FreestyleIntruder
The 70's one Then I'd sell it and buy a load of studio stuff

Members LoC
What's the biggest difference between the V9 and SVT-II as both are all tube?
Members LoC
Anyone else? Is is because of the vintage tone of the 70's model? Is there a difference in punch, clarity, bottom end?

Members oldivor
Where is no such thing as a SVT "V-9", it says SVT/V-9 on the power amp because the the V-9 and the SVT models shared the same power amp design. So they put SVT/V-9 on the power amps. There IS a different in between the V-9(guitar amp with distortion) and the SVT(bass amp with no distortion). That being said I own a SVT "V-9". It's a 78 SVT.
