I tried doing everything, but I believe the truss rod was screwed to begin with. So im thinking of getting one of thsoe fretless p bass necks. Probably not a glossy one judging by the pics on the site. A lot of after market necks come with a light finish, but I have no experience with the rondo necks. I'd call 'em up and ask.
