Members bikehorn Posted December 7, 2007 Members Share Posted December 7, 2007 Unfortunately body shapes for basses are mostly boring and repetitive, or worse, ugly for the sake of "ergonomics". Apparently manufacturers don't think bass players are cool enough for Vs...but you can ask Warmoth to make you a body and neck for one so you can roll your own and probably come out with something better than any copy you can get. Of course, that depends on how dedicated you are to making it resemble the original guitar i.e. pickguard, humbucker pickups and wiring, etc. Without those things the look is really boring and uninspring IMO.
