Members B-Bottom
I am no fan of Jack Black but that movie is {censored}ing hilarious. It deserves the same place in the hearts of musicians as Spinal Tap. NSFW by the way

Members RSBro
It's pretty good for what it is. Personally, if I have to take Jack Black in a musical movie "School of Rock" was better but of course TOTALLY not even the same thing...
Members JacieFB
Jack Black in Envy is my favorite of his. Other than that, his {censored} just gets so old to me. I guess that may be due in part to a couple of my friends idol-worshiping him and KG.
Members Goofball Jones
It was an "Okay" movie. The best part was the end with Dave Grohl as the Devil. That whole sequence was pretty funny.

Envy was great too. +1 High Fidelity is probably my favorite roll of his. He does great in side-rolls... his starring films? Not so much. What was the name of that movie with Jack Black and two other main dude characters, and they kidnapped his fiance or whatever to prevent him from marrying her... That was pretty funny too. Saving Silverman. An all-time classic w/ Steve Zahn.

Members Texas Noise Factory
Wow. Actual pick replicas. I guess its hella cheaper than making an album like the one in Spinal Tap. Purchase price of item is roughly half as much too. Nice investing!
Members poomwah
I have to admit I hated that movie, I got as far as the "stwabewwy wivva" and had to turn it off. now, school of rock was cool, hi fidelity was cool, I absolutely LOVED saving silverman "if the nachos stick together, that counts as one nacho"

Members monark
I thought POD was hilarious. I like Tenacious D. JB can ge old in some of his movie roles, though.
Members ToeJamFootball
Great film. I didn't stop laughing the whole way through. I love in half the songs he just sings everything he does. Master Exploder is hilarious. "My voice is {censored}ing, POWERFULLLL!!!!"
Members Les_Izzmor
I didn't like the movie. The show as funny as {censored}. Tenacious D do some sweet harmonies. Their voices work very well together.

Members bbl
Finally saw this. I keep expecting to get tired of JB, yet I don't. I dunno why. I thought it was very good, and there are some great scenes. Yeah, Master Exploder. I need to watch that again. I'm not morally opposed to this at all, but I thought the drug usage and shroom scene was distracting. There were some scenes that they should have left out. They didn't fit. But I don't have any prior exposure to the D, and I suspect they just wanted to get some of their elements in there (i.e., Sasquatch). It also seemed as if the songs drove the scenes, not the scenes driving the songs. Overall, very good and outrageously funny.

Members Hopi
My favorite part is the next day, when they totally forgot how the song they came up with went. That {censored} happens to me all the time.
Members monark
Totally a classic (in my opinion anyway). I'm not a huge fan of Jack Black's "normal" movies, but I love the D. I think that it's really his true calling anyway. POD is a great movie and a great CD both.
