Members seilerbird
Paul actually hated the Hofner because the intonation was so bad on the higher frets. He resurrected it in 1987 because people expected to see it with him. As he said, like people expect to see Charlie Chaplin with his cane. Members bassgirl9
I think he used it as well on Run Devil Run didn't he? I found it to be a strange choice that he would go electric for a rockabilly album seeing as he owns Bill Black's upright bass.
Members Robin
Not me but, my good friend Tony "Bone" Dorsey and Paul at Sea-Saint Studio in New Orleans doing Venus & Mars. Tony wrote all the horn parts on the Wings stuff.

Members seilerbird
Back in the early nineties I was asked quite often if I was Nick Nolte. Then in 1992 People magazine put him on the cover with the title "Sexiest Man Alive". Then I got my haircut short and people stopped asking me if I was Nick Nolte. Then he got busted years later for drunk driving and this photo appeared everywhere. I am glad I don't have his money. So I went from looking like the sexiest man alive to the drunkest man alive. Members Rob Martinez
I play bass in a Beatles trib band, here's the basses I use: VERY groovy!! I may have to splurge and get a Hofner Icon bass! Just to have a "Paul" bass in my collection! I know it is not what he uses, but I can't justify $2000 for a bass I just want for a "vibe." I have a Ric 4000 but it is red wine color. Still VERY cool and sounds sweet!
