I'm constantly impressed at the creativity and skill that people put into these jams. I think this is by far my favourite part about all of HCBF.

I too will contribute. I'm just poppin' in on my lunchbreak so I'll have to do it after hours.

Good stuff guys!:thu:

what is the easiest way to record you guys a track on my pc, I quite fancy having a go
:thu:

I have a plug for instrument cables on my front panel, but you could get a reducer to 3.5mm and use the mic-in port, I'm sure.

and for the love of god take my mp3 out of the OP, lol

Maybe that WAS my real recording and now you're making me feel all self conscious
:cry:

maybe I should have used the full quote :p:lol:

"LOL oh jesus, I'm in the OP now. I'll have to for-real make a recording now just so you can get that JM5-impersonating-abomination discredited from my name"

What I do is:

Bass pod xt -> PC

Use headphones from the pod for my time, run Audacity with the setting to "play all tracks while recording" on, so I can just play along with the drums. Seems to work OK.

OK, so how do I dub my bass playing to accompany this beat?

Excuse my ignorance but instructions please?

save the file , and import it into a recording program and dub away , there are a few free programs to be had so what kinda of computer are you using and or what do you usually use for recording ?
