Members Zeopold
I got one of those Mark Bass CMD 12" combos. It's loud and light, but it's digital, and too clean with it. I need a little dirt. Tried a Sansamp, too muddy, tried a bass POD, even more digital, tried a Tube Screamer, which sucked bottom end. Any other suggestions? Members guitargod0dmw
I used an EBS Valve Drive with my Markbass LMII to dirty it up a little and it worked great!

Members bob, just bob
I have this combo as well. The MXR M80 is ok, but I was using it more for a heavy distortion than for mild dirt. There are mods out there to keep the tube screamer from cutting so much bass. Of course, tube screamers are also pretty notorious for not sounding very good with solid state amps..... although that may just be guitarded advice. Members RSBro
The guy who bought my Analogman TS9DX is selling it I think, maybe. I"m seriously considering buying it back. It's a helluva pedal, and works awesome for bass!

Members RSBro
+1 I was messing with my Programmable BDDI last night, and it's pretty good, but man- that TS9DX was right on compared to the last few drives I've tested... I think I'm gunna get it back. I think I could lose my DD3 on my board and use the TS9DX instead. Or....... just get a bigger board...
