Members Onkel Bob
I just realized that the last two concerts I've seen has been with bass players playing two strings. Does that mean anything? Probably not. Two days ago it was Presidents of the United States. Good show. Man I was trashed at work the day after from the beer and the jumping around. My voice wasn't doing too great either... And march 7th it was Danish band D.A.D. I remember the date because I, brother and sis took my mum out on her birthday to a rockshow. A good one too. Anyway here's a couple of youtube vids of each: Presidents: Something old: Something newer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5TOlsmwSKg D.A.D.Old: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eO2SjECCyY&feature=relatedQuite new:

Members Onkel Bob
Yep. Both were playing instruments that looked like Gibson SG's when I saw them. Presidents I mean. Didn't get a closer look at head-stocks. Chris played through a Hartke rig and Andy through two Orange combos. Didn't see what the drummer played. He looked like Saddam Hussein though. I thought it was a bit ironic...

It's a guitar strung with two very heavy strings but not bass strings so it sounds kinda like a bass but punchier. I'm goin' to see them next week. I did some work on teh street team for the gig here so I got hooked up for tickets & a bunch of my friends too. Yo!

Andrew plays everything from Les Paul DC Specials, SG's, Explorers and I think maybe a strat? Jason plays no string drums.

Members Super Bass
Probably the Epi's then. I think Andrew might have a Gibson SG also though?? This link has details on Guitbasses and Basitars.

Members dravenzouk
It just so happens I've been on a Morphine/Sandman kick the last few days. I find myself cranking "Buena" or "Honey White" and as soon as the track is over I tap the back button and listen to it again, only louder. Dang they were a great band, and Sandman had killer tone. RIP Mark.

Members Onkel Bob
The bass player in D.A.D. has some interesting looking basses. Some of them has come up here before. I'll just post a few pics again anyway though. Edit: Before anyone calls photoshop on the first one I have seen it in real life.
