Members Cliff Fiscal
If not, can they be? Maybe a single thread, with all of the links? My kit will appear tomorrow.:excited:
Moderators Kindness Posted May 29, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 29, 2009 They aren't and won't be, but you can find Guttermouth's thread by searching the threads he's created. You can also find Pickdust's and Blitzen's the same way.

Moderators Kindness Posted May 30, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 30, 2009 Anything I can do to make sure all of my joints are good before I go any farther? Use your multimeter to check continuity on every joint.

Members Cliff Fiscal
Am I supposed to get a reading on all of the points? I'm not getting a reading across most of the resistors? even touching the bare leads?
Moderators Kindness Posted May 30, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 30, 2009 Am I supposed to get a reading on all of the points?I'm not getting a reading across most of the resistors? even touching the bare leads? Check for continuity between the lead and the turret. The joint is what you are testing, so the joint is what goes between the two leads. If you test continuity across a resistor, the resistor gets in the way.

Members Cliff Fiscal
Quick question.....in GM's build thread.....it says to check AC voltage on the red wires on the rectifier tube. I'm getting a reading on Pin 4....but not on 6? I also had a bad power tube.....wouldn't light up....luckily I had another set.
