Thieves grab anything they can carry - laptops, mics, cymbals, guitars, amps. Most of my stuff is not convenient for one person to carry or run with. Bulky racks and instruments. Most thefts involve one person. I own very little that one person could easily carry off. I've been lucky so far, would hate to suffer a break-in on my studio.
