Nice bass! The one thing that would make it look better would be if the end of the neck had a rounded off fretboard instead of the squared off one.

that is about the only thing that does not sit well with me. im sure once i played a sadowsky i would care less about it tho.

"First Sadowsky that I have ever wanted to physically put my wiener inside:love:"

ROTFLMAO-

They (Sadowsky) shot me an E-mail asking me to let them know how I liked the axe after spending some time with it---

I should hit them back with that; maybe they'll use it on their website!

TOO funny.

I don't particularly want to put my cock-in-a-box inside that NYC Standard 4, but everything about the build and tone of that monster is awesome!

Gorgeous, Larry. You should come visit me sometime. Bring all your basses.

I'd need Atlas Van lines at this point!! YOU need to get your azz out to Laz Vegaz one of these week-ends, and I will hook you up, you will see a R&B smokin' show, and you will see at least 2 or 3 or 4 from the LNJ collection; ever growing...

YES- GROWING AGAIN!!!

gosh darn- I won't be able to crow about it for a YEAR!!!!

BUT- I ordered what I wanted and craved, a STEVENS Slant 4-

Look 'em up- They are INSANE.

ABSOLUTELY the end. 36 bass guitars. Shame on me.

NO MORE!:cop:

Looks really nice, Larry.

Here's my NYC-UV

THAT, like all they do, is a beaut ++++

Guys, it's not arrogance or elitism, not at all, but those Sads- Good grief, can they build a bass.

Mine is light as 1/2 a feather, and Oh sh*&&%$## does it have TONE~

Can't quite make out that accent strike... need better pics...

I know I know- I've been azz-kicked about my jack pics deservedly many times. SHame!

The stripe is really subtle, tho, just a little hairline accent.

The bass overall is fit for the Gods....

Interesting.

How many of those basses came recently? It seems you've had a new bass at least every week lately...

I've had conversations with Michael lately, he's a real cowboy...who also happened to be the originator of the Fender Cusotm Shop- he's built/designed the FCS Clapton, Robert Cray, Danny Gatton models, the git-whatever forJunior Brown, and many other incredible builds.

He's a bass player who DIGS Danelectros!! He builds every component of the Slant hisself, winds the pups at home, and it is a bass like a Sad, a Lull, or a few others that I would buy unplayed knowing I would LOVE the bees outta it.

I signed a performance contract with my "employer" music-wise in Las Vegas last month, I am guaranteed week-ends in 2-month increments, and I always get renewal options insofar as my Band does the right stuff-

Groove tunes and soulful Ballads, that anyone but the biggest arsewad could rock and dance to. The calibre of musicianship is HIGH, and I have worked VERY hard to put this ensemble together and perform a SEAMLESS well-paced performance, spotlighting the drop-dead gorgeous and talented Female Singer that I feature. Smart huh?

Plus I'm a Sales Rep, an Independent Contractor for 3 fairly well-respected MI mfrs. who I will NEVER mention on HC because it got me burned last time. Bassius, you should have got your prize, bud.

I'm not going to bull{censored} or crow- not the point. I've been posting about my gear acquisitions because it is very therapeautic to do so, considering I'm watching my Father pass slowly, tho in comfort here at home with me.

That's some heavy {censored} that no amount of gear replaces... BUT-

I make Bank-

Las Vegas Resort Club Work- not a Bar, not a {censored}hole, there are some especially in Fremont, North LV, etc- this is a high-end Casino/Resort property with (3) rooms, I play the 400-seat mid room and may reduce my ensemble to play even a smaller more intimate room.

It pays plenty, and that's why combined with my good commissions from

MI accounts that I've created and propogated, I get Sadowsky, Lull, Trussart, Mahogany Bongo, G&L CLF, the Hellborg System, a beaut Carvin, and others, now the Stevens which is awesome.

I even have a Power Conditioner, a good one! & maybe we can understand why when some amateur douchebox wanna-be rock nothing with no skills and nuthin to say tries to bust my ballz they need to be beat down. Too frickin easy for me.

You're a good guy Bro. See how easy it is>>

Peace.

See ya in Vegas sometime I hope. I'd dig that.
