what song would you want at your funeral?

Songs at my funeral: "Many Rivers to Cross" by Jimmy Cliff, "Angel" by Aretha Franklin, and I've always had this fantasy that some beautiful, tearful woman would insist on "You're the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me" by Gladys Knight. But who would that woman be?

I'm so not going to your funeral.

You're not invited!!

Actually, as someone who spends quite a bit of time at funeral homes, I can tell you that you will probably have a stock version "on eagles wings" played at your funeral. For some reason mourners cream their jeans for that tune. I lose a little of my soul every time I hear it :(

I once heard a dude do that version at a karaoke bar.
Awesome:thu:

That was the first song that popped into my head that I threw out jokingly, but the more I think about it, the more appropriate I find it to be.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm rarely serious. You guys on here are probably thinking, "yeah yeah we know, you're a big joker...". No, you don't understand. I am nearly incapable of being serious.

How appropriate would it be for there to be one final joke from beyond the grave?
