Members fretless
My new LMIII's manual says 8A 250v as does the back of the unit and on the fuse box itself . However what is in there is a 8A 125v. same with it's spare , this came direct from MB sealed in box via MF so I can only assume it's correct . But still confusing , so is either / or a acceptable replacement ? Thanks
Members perrydabassman
It really should make no difference.

Members PaulyWally
My new LMIII's manual says 8A 250v as does the back of the unit and on the fuse box itself . However what is in there is a 8A 125v. That's because it was a U.S. shipment. American voltage is ~110v, European is ~220v. You can put a 250v fuse in there also and it will work fine. You just can't use a fuse that has a voltage rating LESS than what you're putting into the amp.

Members Super Bass
I assume its due to the different voltages in each country. Italy is 220v - 240v, whereas the US is 110v - 120v? So the fuse in yours would have been changed depending on where it was headed for sale but the manual wasn't changed.
Members mrcrow
does the fuse actually say 8A 125V the internal voltage and electronics are related to the 8A the mains voltage should be then reduced to suit depending on the country in use...so the 8A still stands
