sounds like a thousand pound piano
:cool::lol::thu:

I bought it for the asymetrical neck and 19 mm spacing, fully expecting to have to change out the "bland" carvin pups I'd heard so much about. Needless to say, I found that not to be the case. I recorded that with the old strings that came on it the first day I got it off of Ebay.

I've always heard that too until Bassius slapped that myth right down , since then I hear more and more clips of Carvin basses that are nothing short of worldclass tones .

checks calendar , taps foot... :poke:

I've been ridiculously busy in the last week or two. It's not even funny. :facepalm: So... with that in mind I'm pulling out an old clip. :p
It's from 2008 when I just got my green Jazz and it still had tapewounds on it.

Got a little lost/carried away towards the end. :lol:

I'll put together something new soon with a different bass.

Well.. its only the second thing Ive ever written in my life.. Its REAL rough (done in rifftracker which is pretty ugly), the timing on most stuff is well off as it was being flung together and made up as I went along, then somehow all of my guitar setting somehow got reverted over to some other amp model.. anyways.. (oh and I'm not a guitar solo guy.. its nasty I know).

the whole thing is part of my 'attempt to write (but not polish, spend no more than a day or so) one song a week'

NICE :thu:

That baby has a nice growl to it.

I'd love to hear it with some rounds.
