Members zachoff
It's not a done deal yet, but my guitarist is driving up to the Ft to pick this stuff up today. A Fender Passport PA for the band and I'm getting the Bass Big Muff. We haven't got it yet, but here are the pictures: http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/msg/1573413811.html http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/msg/1573593074.html
Members Ender_rpm
Nice. Though I doubt that passport will keep up with a band outside of rehearsals.

Yeah, it's meant for vocals at practice. We most likely won't be playing shows where he have to provide the house sound but if it comes to that I'll probably just rent some PA speakers or something for that show. Members zachoff
OK, so the Fender fell through so I got a cheapo on MF.com... http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Phonic-Powerpod-410-S710-PA-Package?sku=630485 We'll use it at practice next week and see if it does the trick. If not, we'll send it back. Worth a shot, right?

I"m sure it will be fine for rehearsal vocals.

I doubt a Passport system could keep up with my bass.... acoustically. Friends don't let friends buy PA from guitar brands.

Friends don't let friends buy PA from guitar brands. We were using a Yamaha PA and it kicked ass, but the owner wanted it back a few weeks ago. Since then we've been using my Yorkville bass amp and it's less than ideal.

Members i_wanna_les_paul
http://www.yamahaproaudio.com/products/mixers/pm1d/index.html That's a motorcycle company. Duh!
Members Renfield
That's a motorcycle company. Duh! Exactly. A motorcycle brand that has done amazingly well at entering and competing in any market they want too. Yammie is one heck of a solid sleeper brand, all things considered. Fender is a guitar brand, and when they make PA, it really shows.
Members gspointer
Actually, I think yamaha started with musical instruments.
