Members tehuti
Glenmorangie. This stuff is like sweet nectar. My favorite is 12 yo but the 18 yo is even better.

Members bassthumpintwin
I just recently got into whiskey, and have only tried a couple. For cheap, so far I like Evan Williams. On sale it was only $15 for 1.75 liters, and really good at that price. I'm going to have to try others mentioned in this thread! Picked some of this up from wal-mart last night. Not bad. Relatively smooth. Not as good as Jack Daniels, but the price was right.
Members birdboy7007
Off whiskey for a few nights. Enjoyed a little too much Jameson's during the hockey game...
Members Captain Fathead
Jameson was my standby, til I moved back to Brooklyn and Powers was slightly cheaper and surprisingly good.I was given a bottle of It was absurdly good. Only drank it on special occasions, and I can't see myself getting another bottle anytime soon
Members Zon5string
Are you guys actually married? :poke: Yes, we are. She gets really mad when I refer to her as my "first wife".I like my women like I like my whiskey. 18 years old and mixed with coke.
Members lokidecat
I like Bulliet straight up. It's better than on the rocks. I keep a lowball glass in the fridge. Pour my Bulleit into it. I like it cold, just not watered down.

Members Super Bass
Bushmills or Jameson. Actually that reminds me... next time I'm out and it's daylight I need to take some pictures of the old Jameson distillery across the road.

Members xbassman
What's up with these whiskys that don't have the amber hue. I guess I have been a little sheltered, only drinkin' Kentucky's. (Well, with a few exceptions) I am curious to try one of these like maybe a Jameson. Do these taste anything like a Bushmills or Bulleit?

Members Jammin_Bass
I like Canadian whiskey the most. Forty Creek Barrel Select gets the vote for me. It's not to damn expensive either!!
Members Reverend179
Have you ever tried a 15+ years Laphroig? It'll blow your brain off! Lovely so it is! Even Glenmorangie gets a hell of a lot more flavour for those few extra years. I accidentally ordered the 15 year at a bar once (it's quite expensive) but my god it was worth it! I had a bottle of 18 year old Morangie a little while ago, and man. Nectar from the gods.

Members Fireball_73
Had a Japaneese whiskey tonight. Can't remember the exact name - think it was Yamakaze - really nice stuff. Tasted oddly like a blend of coconut, banana, washing up liquid and whisky. Also had a nice Welsh whisky. Best scotch of the night was the Dalmore 12 year - I'd reccomend it - full of flavour and a nice rich caramel(y) flavour.
